Created for seven Principal Dancers and a Corps of sixteen, the Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1, had its world premiere at the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa, California on December 1, 1987. It was the second ballet Clark Tippet created for ABT, coming after Enough Said in January, 1987. |
